Hi Pot Meters
The HI Pot Device is designed to Hi Pot de-energized 15kV class cables. The tool transforms 18 Volts from the battery to approximately 8,000 volts DC. When the battery is installed and the safety switch is in the closed down position, the unit is in voltage detection mode. The unit should be in this position when installing the device, as it will sound a warning alarm if you approach an energized source. When the safety switch is lifted and the toggle switch is switched up, the unit is in the Hi-Pot mode and the high voltage DC is being applied.

The CQ range provides an innovative fully-concentric and balanced actuator design for quarter-turn valves. The design features a helical mechanism that transforms linear piston motion into quarter-turn valve stem rotation. CQ actuators provide a much higher torque output for a given footprint than scotch yoke designs typically utilised to operate many quarter-turn valve types. It is therefore ideally suited for installation in confined spaces. Further, Rotork’s unique helical pin design provides higher efficiency than a helical gear mechanism utilised by other valve actuator manufacturers.As standard, the CQ torque output profile, like that of a scotch yoke actuator, is engineered to parallel the torque demand profile typically found with popular quarter-turn valve types. The CQ design however is unique in that the torque profile can be custom engineered and manufactured to meet specific, non-standard valve torque requirements.In our experience, the CQ standard range of sizes is suitable for applications that require a pneumatically powered actuator with torque demand less than 150,000 Nm. 20Hz Generator

In order to implement a 100 % stator earth fault protection based on subharmonic injection, a 20Hz voltage is injected into the generator star point. The 20-Hz generator SGEN-1001 is used in combination with the Band Pass Filter SBPF-1001 in the Stator Earth fault protection. The injection can be performed by connecting the SGEN-1001 and the SBPF-1001 to the load resistor of an earthing or neutral transformer. If an earth fault occurs in the generator star point, the 20 Hz voltage drives a current through the fault resistance. From the driving voltage and the fault current, the protective relay determines the fault resistance.
