The M4K1553Px(S)-1760 interface module for the multimode, multiprotocol, Excalibur 4000 family of carrier boards provide a complete solution for developing and testing MIL-STD-1760 interfaces and performing system simulation of the MIL-STD-1760 bus. The module handles all standard variations of the MIL-STD-1760 protocol.Each M4K1553Px-1760 multi function module contains 64K bytes of dual-port RAM for Data blocks, Control registers, and Look-up Tables. All Data blocks and Control registers are memory mapped, and may be accessed in real time. Each of the independent dual redundant M4K1553Px-1760 modules may be programmed to operate in one of three modes of operation: Remote Terminal, Bus Controller/Concurrent-RT, and Bus Monitor. In addition, modules 1 and 3 can be programmed to operate as Concurrent monitors, to modules 0 and 2 respectively.

These include the entry-level version of newWaveX (newWaveX–Lite), the development versions of newWaveX (newWaveX–SD and newWaveX–PD) and the complete integrated development environment for IEEE 1641, SigBase. These tools provide everything necessary to work with IEEE 1641, from creating simple signals through to implementing and managing a complete 1641 test environment. All of our 1641 tools are commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) items that may be used stand-alone or integrated into a complete test development environment. newWaveX products may be integrated with third party test executives and associated software.newWaveX is an intuitive user-friendly suite of products that does not require specialist training for users to acquire the skills to develop 1641 programs. For more than 40 years, Thales has delivered high accuracy optics for ground-based Astronomy all around the world. These optics range from single, but challenging, unmounted optical components up to fully integrated opto-mechanical systems. Our design heritage and past experience in this field cover the design, manufacture and AIT activities of many optics and sub-assemblies used in Telescope instrumentation, such as focal plane assemblies as well as the direct production of telescope mirrors themselves. Several major achievements of Thales ground-based Astronomy products were the Optical wide field corrector for the Dark Energy Survey (lien), the Reference Body for future Deformable Secondary Mirror of the VLT (lien) and different challenging spectrograph optics (Collimator and Cameras) for different Observatories (lien). One advantage Thales has with this activity is that most part of the manufacturing steps involved (i.e. opto-mechanical design, milling/grinding, lightening, polishing and coating) are directly under our control in our own facility. Our current capabilities for the production of optics for ground-based Astronomy are from a few centimeters size up to 2 meters. Thanks to the continuous efforts in R& D and investments into new production machines, Thales is now ready for future industrial challenges including the optical production of some key elements of the E-ELT, GMT and TMT programs.
