The Model 20 Galvanic DO Sensor utilizes proven galvanic sensing technology – without a question the most accurate and reliable DO sensing technology ever developed. The pure platinum cathode makes the sensor incapable of being poisoned by other gases often found in impure waters, such as hydrogen sulfide. This sensor utilizes the only DO sensing technology that is successful in continuous de-nitrification monitoring and control applications. It is also the only sensor design that can be used continuously in very violent pure liquid oxygen injection systems. CMAS probes are made from user-specified sensing materials, including carbon steels, stainless steels, and nickel-, aluminum-, and copper-based alloys. They can also be made from customer supplied materials that have the same microstructure/heat treatment as the system component materials to be monitored. The size of the sensing electrode varies from 0.1 to 3 mm (0.004" to 0.12") in diameter, depending on the application. Typical numbers of electrodes in a CMAS probe are 9, 16 or 25 for online corrosion monitoring and vary from 8 to 100 for laboratory corrosion and electrochemical studies.

Breakout board for the MAX31855J digital thermocouple interface ICs by Maxim. Measured temperature range is -210C-1200C with known thermal characteristics and output resolution of 0.25C. This sensor supports a larger operating range (specifically in the negative range) than its predecessors, the MAX6674 and MAX6675, though it is not pin-pin compatible. This board is interfaced with a 0.1" 2x5 pin header (8-pins used), has four vertical mini thermocouple connectors and four mounting holes for standoffs and 4-40 screws. The SEN-30003 is interfaced via 3 or 4-wire SPI with a data-ready output for specific operating modes. An LDO and a high-speed level shifter are included to allow interfacing with microcontroller devices between 3.0V and 5V (all Arduinos, Raspberry PI, etc) without sacrificing device performance (many other level shifters reduce data rates to below 500 kHz).
