The SiTek Standard PSD (Position Sensing Detector) has high resolution, fast response and outstanding linearity. It is used in a wide variety of applications, most of them utilizing light sources in the visible or near-infrared part of the spectrum. The spectral range covers the region 400 - 1100 nm. Thanks to SiTek's proprietary AR-coating, optimized around 860 nm, a reflection loss of only 2% is achieved around the responsivity peak. Most of the detectors have a cover window to avoid handling damages.

The Portable optical DO meter makes use of the fast-response optical DO sensor RINKO, maintaining its high-speed response performance (99% response < 7sec). The meter probe is equipped with a temperature sensor close to the sensing foil, and the measurements are made by simply inserting the probe into a DO sample bottle (the calibration is carried out using the National Metrology Institute of Japan (NMIJ) certified traceable gases standards). Differently from galvanic electrode sensors, the instrument does not require water sample stirring or fixing reagents, since there is no oxygen consumption. Thus, the required time to estimate dissolved oxygen is considerably reduced. The display unit shows the output instantaneously, and you can check the measured values in real time.

Connection to the process is via a flexible heated inert capillary line with a sample consumption rate less than 10 mL/minute and a response time of less than 300 milliseconds at pressures near atmosphere. The comprehensive range of process interface options enables adaptation of the system to accommodate analysis of up to 16 individual process streams, and adaptors are available for direct connection of the system to most standard TGA/TA instruments. External process data, sample temperature or mass for example, can be imported for combined integration and presentation with the mass spectral data.
