Function Generator
The 41-625-002 (PXI) and 43-625-002 (PXIe) are function generator modules that provide 24 channels in a single PXI/PXIe slot. They can generate sine waves to 300 kHz with 5.76 mHz frequency resolution referenced to the 10 MHz PXI clock. The output voltage range is up to +/-25 V in a 16-bit resolution. It also support PXI trigger functions allowing events from other instruments to initiate waveform generation or sweeps.

Our 42-924 PXIe Chassis provides seven hybrid compatible slots for application flexibility. The chassis utilizes a single PCI segment with a dedicated PCIe-to-PCI bridge module for the hybrid slots. The PXI specific high accuracy clocks and trigger signals are generated and controlled by an independent clock module attached to the rear of the backplane. This hybrid chassis supports the latest generation (Gen 3) PXIe modules. The chassis is fitted with a 400W industrial grade power supply mounted at the rear of the unit with sufficient capacity to support PXI modules with very high current demands.

The clock and trigger distribution card is a simple and passive component that allows to synchronize several systems externally. No programming is necessary. A clock can be fed in from an external device or as an option an internal clock oscillator can be equipped by the factory.
