This compact, versatile unit accepts 1, 2 or 3 line modules or other products that use Telebyte's convenient line module form factor. At home in the lab or a high-volume production environment, it is capable of controlling from 1 - 24 channels and is ideal for testing DSL modems and other bandwidth-compliant telecom devices. While it can be used as a stand-alone unit, the built-in Control Module interfaces with a PC via RS-232, IEEE-488, or Ethernet. In addition, the 458 Universal GUI (included with purchase) may be used to control the unit from a PC. For added convenience, the Control Module firmware is field-upgradeable through the RS-232 port.

Modular high current DC power supply systems providing up to 2kV at 2MW can be assembled.A variety of interfaces are available. Analogue, RS232, CAN, RS485, Ethernet or IEEE 488.2 can be specified for most units. LabVIEW drivers are also offered to aid system integration.

The GI-SOURCE impulsive source is based on the same technology as the GI-SOURCE but is different in that it has two independent air chambers within the same casing : the Generator (generating the primary pulse and creating the main bubble) and the Injector (injecting air inside the main bubble so that it collapses quickly).

The Keysight N7711A and N7714A tunable lasers are single-port and four-port sources, available with C-band or L-band wavelength coverage. All models can reach any wavelength point within their specified wavelength in the C- and L-band range. The narrow linewidth and offset grid fine-tuning capability make them ideal sources for realistic loading of the latest transmission systems. In system loading applications, it may be preferable to grid-tune the lasers like system transmitters, simply by changing the channel index. The channel grid is adjustable to standard ITU-T grid spacing like 50 GHz, and to arbitrary grids. The Keysight N7711A and N7714A tunable lasers are available in a compact format with half-rack width and one rack-unit height. This format makes them the right choice for high channel-count system load applications.
