Drop height ranges from 12-60 inches.The Drop Tester is supplied with a variety of standard features to earn its reputation as the industry standard: motor hoist with hand held control box to automatically raise and lower drop arm with package in place, Microswitch to preset drop height for repeatable drops, drop height indicator, remote hand switch actuated and a one inch vertical drop prior to drop arm swing to insure that package is not subject to rotation. LR/RAD Drop Testers are designed so packages may be released from any angle and be assured of landing in the same position. Special fixtures are available to allow for corner and edge drops.

Coefficient of Friction Gauges
M5-2-COF
The M5-2-COF coefficient of friction (COF) gauge is an integral part of a COF testing system, typically including a motorized test stand and COF fixture. With a capacity of 2 lbF [10 N], the gauge can be used to measure friction for a wide range of materials, ideal for conformance to ASTM D1894 and other relevant standards. Static and kinetic coefficients are displayed on the backlit LCD, and are calculated from a user-programmable sled weight.

KMD540 Series and RDR2000/2100 Panel
TA-3C
The TA-3C test fixture is a combination of the KMD540 testing requirements and the RDR-2000/2100 weather radar interface requirements. This panel allows the technician to test the KMD540 MFD as a stand alone item (with external simulators) or together with a radar sensor for a dynamic real time test. The panel includes the required switching for sensor alignment and KMD testing along with input jacks for the required data inputs. Also built into the fixture is an analog gyro simulator for checking the stabilization functions of the sensor. The full enclosure comes in standard panel width.

G18 - 18 Module Solution
For maximum versatility and easy access to instrument-side wiring and cable assemblies, VPC offers a selection of slide kits designed to fit most common rack depths. Ordering has been simplified by offering a package that includes the G18 receiver, receiver mounting plate, flanges and instrument bracket. Slides are rated to support 180 lbs (81 kg) to accommodate large fixtures. To determine the slide kit needed, measure rack depth between mounting rails. With this measurement, choose the slide mounting kit that fits the rack.

I-V Measurement Systems
The I-V Curve Data Acquisition includes a fixture for holding cells for testing (see Figure 1 below). This fixture can accommodate cells from small to up to 100 mm x 100 mm. Adjustable cell stops, in the X & Y-axis, are provided to consistently locate the cells for testing. Two micro-manipulators are provided as shown in Figure 1. Each micro-manipulator has two spring loaded contacts to allow 4-wire measurement even for cells that have top contacts only. Two back-side voltage contacts are embedded in the Plate (galvanically isolated from the Plate) and make good electrical contact when the cell is held down by vacuum to the plate. All voltage and current probes are gold-plated. The cell is held down with vacuum during testing (built-in vacuum pump).

The 40-196 is a 10 Channel 5A Fault Insertion Switch, primarily designed for the simulation of fault conditions in automotive & avionics applications involving the reliability testing of safety critical controllers. It is designed to be able to insert different fault conditions between the test fixture and the equipment under test: Open-Circuit, Short-Circuit between signal pairs, Short-Circuit between signal pairs and user applied fault conditions e.g. Power or GND. Shorting relays on each channel enable UUT signals to be subjected to external user applied fault conditions or to be shorted to the adjacent signal in the same channel. Relays in line with the signal allow open circuit conditions to be simulated on either side or both sides of a channel signal pair. The switching topology of the 40-196 allows channels to be interconnected so that complex fault insertion systems can be constructed.
