Multiplexers (MUX)
WDM
-
It is highly desirable to reduce the number of cables required to communicate between spaces on Navy ships due to increased weight, cost and maintenance concerns. To reduce weight and expense, copper-based NTDS parallel and serial type cables can be converted to fiber optic and multiplexed using Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) technology. WDM technology allows for multiple fiber optic wavelengths to be combined in a single fiber and then separated back to individual fibers at the distant end. Using Coarse WDM (CWDM) which utilizes wavelengths 20nm apart ranging from 1271 nm to 1611 nm, provides for up to 18 optical wavelengths to be combined into a single fiber. Optionally Dense WDM (DWDM) can be used allowing for up to 160 optical wavelengths.

USB Data Communications Multiplexers
-
These USB multiplexers are ideal for the testing of multiple devices that use USB interfaces, allowing the test system to select one target device from many. The design is bi-directional to permit use as a multiplexer or de-multiplexer with no impact on performance and uses long lifetime electro-mechanical relays characterized for use in data communications systems.

Precision Low-Loss Multiplexers
-
Maury’s line of diplexers (DP-series) and triplexers (TP-series) are designed for applications which require combining/ splitting signals at or around harmonic frequencies (nFo) and are connectorized for design-in and test and measurement applications.DP-series diplexers are designed using low-pass and high-pass filters and pass bias between the low-frequency (or Fo) port and the common (or DUT) port.TP-series triplexers are designed using low-pass, bandpass and high-pass filters and pass bias between the low-frequency (or Fo) port and the common (or DUT) port.Power handling is rated at 100W CW (average) and typical insertion loss is better than 0.5dB between the low-pass (Fo) and common ports.DP- and TP-series multiplexers are ideal accessories for passive, active and hybrid-active multi-harmonic load pull systems.

Digital Fiber Multiplexers & Wavelength Shifters
FiberSaver Series
-
We don’t always have unlimited amounts of fiber at our disposal. Whether working in pre-fibered event venues, houses of worship or moving camera signals across busy metropolitan areas, fiber counts can quickly add up – especially when bi-directional optical transmission is required. MultiDyne’s FiberSaver Series is built for the system designer who needs a robust yet compact solution for signal links where fiber strands are limited, or where fiber feed requirements exceed budgets. FiberSaver products help technicians send and receive more optical signals over fewer fibers. Wavelength-agnostic inputs will multiplex just about any digital optical coming from SMPTE cameras, Network Switches, etc., and combine them with several optical matrix inputs. Scalable in increments of six channels, content producers now have a cost-effective solution to carry extra signals for sports production, distance learning and remote broadcasting.
