Model 40-660 is a 10-Channel Power Multiplexer, suitable for switching inductive/capacitive loads up to 10A at 250VAC. It is available with a choice of 1-pole (10A) or 2-pole (8A versions). Model 40-665 is a higher density 18 Channel Power Multiplexer with the same specification as the 40-660. Power Multiplexer Modules are intended for switching heavy AC or DC loads or for slave switching large external relays, contactors and solenoids.

Each of the 16 incoming TTL channels is sampled 100 million times per second, multiplexed and transmitted serially over an optical fiber at two gigabits per second. The receiver acquires this digital data and de-multiplexes it to 16 separate output ports.
