GPIB To Ethernet Instrument Interface
*ICS's 4865B GPIB to Ethernet Instrument Interface adapts instruments with Ethernet interfaces to GPIB test systems.*ICS's 4865B provides a VXI-11 compliant interface for instruments that support the VXI-11 protocol and a smart, user-configurable, raw socket protocol that accommodates most instruments that use raw sockets. The PA32S represents a new level of performance and capabilities for PXI-based digital instrumentation. Based on the proven architecture of the PE32, the PA32S offers high performance pin electronics and an enhanced timing generator in a compact, 3U PXI form factor. Each card can function as a stand-alone digital subsystem or if required, multiple cards can be interconnected, supporting up to 512 bi-directional pins (16 boards). The PA32S also supports deep pattern memory by offering= 32 M of on-board vector memory with dynamic per pin direction control and with test rates up to 33 MHz. With new 32M capture/log memory, PA32S can capture 32 channels fail log.

Serial to Digital Interface

All data lines are high power TTL outputs or floating inputs with pullup resistors for sensing CMOS signals or switch contacts. The IIB-1553-VXI-4C is an intelligent interface card which provides 4 independent channels for full MIL-STD-1553 test, simulation and bus analysis functions on the VXI bus. All 1553A, 1553B, McAir and STANAG 3838 variants are supported. Each independent channel may be operated as a concurrent Bus Controller (BC) and up to 31 Remote Terminals (RT) with a windowed Bus Monitor (BM), or as a stand-alone Chronological Bus Monitor (CBM) with comprehensive multi-level triggering capability. Full error injection capability is provided in BC and RT modes, with full error detection in BC, RT, BM and CBM modes. Each channel provides a variable amplitude dual redundant 1553 interface, with 2 Mbytes of dual ported RAM. The board is supplied with C drivers in source code and Windows menu driven software as standard.
