Non-Contact Forehead IR Thermometer
Extech IR200
The IR200 is ideal for quickly screening individuals for elevated skin temperature. This infrared thermometer has a non-contact design that eliminates the need for replacement probe covers and other supplies. The IR200 is accurate to 0.3°C (0.5°F) with 0.1°C/°F resolution when measuring skin temperatures between 32.0°C to 42.5°C (89.6°F to 108.5°F). Adjustable alarm alerts user visually and audibly when temperature exceeds programmed limit. Optimum measurement distance of 5 to 15 cm (1.9 to 5.9 in). Move the Body/Surface function switch to the Surface position for non-contact surface temperature measurements from 0°C to 60°C (32°F to 140°F). With a fast response of just 0.5 seconds, users can simply press the trigger and read temperature on the large backlit LCD display. Memory stores up to 32 readings for easy recall. The tool connects directly into the Vehicle’s Data Link Connector (DLC) testing for any abnormalities such as shorting and reverse polarity at the pins. The MAGNETOMAT software is used for displaying the measured values and saving and exporting data. The wide range of probes facilitates optimal adjustment to the conditions of the application, such as the measurement of relative permeability within the scope of the quality control of stainless steel and low-permeable (non-magnetic) alloys. Further applications include the long-term monitoring of the magnetic environment, e.g. prior to installing magnetically sensitive devices, and the localization of ferrite enclosures in stainless steel and NE materials. Changes in material (sulfidation, degradation of lamination, structural changes) can also be proven thanks to permeability comparative measurements.

In light microscopy it is natural to use toolsets like tweezers, knives, probes and several different measurement tools. Without this many present-day products and methods would not exist. The operators of SEM/FIB-Systems generally work without toolsets, although the wavelength limit of light is no physical boundary. The PRF-922B Miniature Two Point probe accurately measures point-to-point resistance of small areas. Like Prostat's PRF-912B Miniature Concentric Ring, the PRF-922B is capable of measurements up to 1.0x1012 ohms. Built-in distance stops provide consistent electrode to sample pressure for developing repeatable measurements. Use the PRF-922B to measure small material samples, hard to assess molded areas, edges of parts, tray or tape cells and other very small objects and surfaces.
