Fuel Flow and Torque Converter
Model 44SM1
This self-contained, remotely mountable Second Harmonic Fuel Flow Interface accepts data from a second harmonic fuel flow transmitter then converts this information into a frequency output proportional to fuel flow. In addition, this module will accept signals from a T56 Torque Tranducer and provide a DC voltage proportional to Torque. Typical application is for use with Flight Management and Nav Management Systems. The use of field proven designs and carefully selected components assures high reliability field performance.

The 78C1 is a universal 6U cPCI Multifunction I/O Board that eliminates the complexity and size constraints of using multiple, independent, single-function cards. This single slot card has six module positions, allowing developers to achieve a custom configuration with any combination of function modules, such as A/D (10-channels), D/A (10-channels), Discrete I/O (16-channels), TTL I/O (16-channels), Differential Multi-Mode Transceivers (11-channels), RTD (6-channels), Synchro/Resolver (4-channels), LVDT/RVDT (4-channels), and Signal Generator (4-channels).

The 68DT1 is a 3U OpenVPX™ board featuring up to 96-Channels of Standard Functionality (SF) DT1 module-type or Enhanced Functionality (EF) DT4 module-type Discrete I/O functions [foptioned, factory configurable].48-Channels are dedicated as input (voltage or contact sensing with programmable, pull-up/pull-down current sources). An additional 24 or 48-Channels are programmable for either input or output (current source, sink, or push-pull) switching up to 500 mA per channel from an applied 3 – 60 V external VCC source (or sink to ISO-GND). The 68DT1 can sense broken input connections and whether an input is shorted to +VCC or to ground. Additional features of the DT4 EF are listed below. The 68DT1 offers unparalleled programming flexibility, a wide range of operating characteristics, and a unique design that eliminates the need for pull-up resistors or mechanical jumpers.

Synchro/Resolver to Linear DC Converter
NAI offers a variety of Synchro/Resolver Converters that continuously transform Synchro or Resolver inputs into digital form. These solid-state modules provide resolution to 16-bit and accuracy to 19.8 arc-seconds, and are error-free up to the maximum specified tracking rate. They are transformer-isolated and operate over a frequency range from 47 Hz to 10 kHz. The modules are specifically designed for rugged defense and industrial applications.

NAI’s VPX57HS-31 is NAI's latest +270 VDC Input, VPX DC/DC Converter. The VPX57HS was developed in alignment of the SOSA™ Technical Standard and is capable of handling up to 725 Watts of output power. It plugs directly into a standard 3U VPX chassis with a VITA 62 1.0” power supply slot. This off-the-shelf solution for VITA 46.0 and VITA 65 systems is compatible with VPX specifications; supports all VITA standard I/O, signals, and features; and conforms to the VITA 62 mechanical and electrical requirements for modular power supplies.

P104 Synchro/Resolver Measurement Board

NAI’s 73SD4 is a DSP-based, PC104-compliant Synchro/Resolver Measurement Board with six separate, isolated channels. These channels can incorporate up to six Synchro/Resolver-to-Digital Tracking Converters in a stack-through module. Each channel also produces differential incremental encoder (A & B) outputs (with programmable resolution) and a zero-degree marker pulse. Commutation outputs are available for 4-, 6-, or 8-pole brushless DC motors that eliminate the need for Hall Effect sensors, thereby reducing both processor time and bus traffic.
