NAI’s 76CS3 is a PCI/PCIe multifunction I/O and communication board designed for applications requiring Digital-to-Synchro/Resolver (D/S) and Digital-to-LVDT/RVDT (DLV) stimulus output, as well as I/O and communication functions. This full-slot board contains five independent, function module slots. The board can be configured for 6 separate D/S channels, or for D/S in combination with I/O and communication modules. Using multiple DSPs, the enhanced motherboard enables higher processing power and dedicated pre-processing control for each module.

The DT4 module (the enhanced version) features 24 programmable channels for either input (voltage or contact sensing with programmable, on-module pull-up/pull down current sources), or output (current source, sink, or push-pull) up to 500 mA per channel from an applied, external 3 – 60 VCC source. These modules can sense broken input connections and whether an input is shorted to +VCC or to ground. Additional features of the DT4 (Enhanced Version) are listed below.

NAI’s 56GS1 is a 25 Watt AC/DC Power Supply that accepts multiple AC inputs plus a +270 VDC input. This COTS unit provides a single full-power output at a baseplate temperature of +85° C.Standard features include remote error sensing; remote digital (TTL) turn on/off; and protection against transients, overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuits. Options such as ESS vibration testing and choice of output voltages are available, and additional options and special units can be ordered.

Phase Monitors

NAI''s AC- and DC-powered Phase Monitors are used to protect three-phase loads from damage due to phase reversals or phase absence. Contacts may be used to disconnect the load or to operate alarm circuits or both. Upon application of power, the output relay energizes if all phases are connected and the phase sequence is ABC. If any phase becomes disconnected or if the phase rotation is abnormal, the relay immediately de-energizes. These monitors are specifically designed for rugged defense and industrial applications.

An additional 24 or 48-Channels are programmable for either input or output (current source, sink, or push-pull) switching up to 500 mA per channel from an applied 3 – 60 V external VCC source (or sink to ISO-GND). The 68DT1 can sense broken input connections and whether an input is shorted to +VCC or to ground. Additional features of the DT4 EF are listed below. 16 Discrete/Switch I/O Channels (±80 V, 625 mA/Ch.)

The DT2 module features 16 independent, isolated, programmable channels that can be used for input voltage measurements (±80 V), or as a bi-directional current switch (up to 500 mA per channel). When programmed as a switch with the switch closed, both the current through the switch and the voltage across the switch can be monitored. These modules include diode clamping on each channel. Clamping is useful for inductive loads, such as relays and short circuit protection.
