IRIG Timecode Receiver and Generator

The RG1 Time Code receiver synchronizes to IRIG-A/B/G time codes and provides precise time in a memory register, for the host SBC.The IRIG output of the card can be used to synchronize other IRIG time code readers. Additionally, the RG1 includes a real-time clock (RTC) that may be used as a reference source for IRIG master applications, to free the system processor from the task of updating the master timer.

A counterpart to this device used for measuring rotary displacement is called a rotary variable differential transformer (RVDT). The RVDT is like an LVDT in that it measures a positional displacement, however, the displacement, which is still a linear proportional function, is based on rotary instead of linear positional movement.

4 Discrete/Switch I/O Channels (±100 V, 3 A/Ch.)
DT3
The DT3 module (the enhanced version) feature 4 independent, high current, isolated, programmable channels that can be used for input voltage measurements (±100 V), or as a bi-directional current switch (up to 3 A per channel). When programmed as a switch with the switch closed, both the current through the switch and the voltage across the switch can be monitored. These modules include diode clamping on each channel. Clamping is useful for inductive loads, such as relays and short circuit protection.

The DA1 provides either voltage or current control loop modes that are programmable for the particular application. The DA1 module also offers external trigger/synchronization signal (RS422/485) capability, which provides/accepts a trigger signal to/from other module(s).
