The SpaceWire PCI Express (PCIe) board is the latest addition to STAR-Dundee’s SpaceWire interface device family. It provides three SpaceWire interfaces with the optimised host software supporting high bandwidth transmission of SpaceWire packets directly to and from the host PC. The three SpaceWire interfaces of the SpaceWire PCIe are each fully compliant to the SpaceWire standard and operate at up to 300 Mbits/s. Not only an interface device, the SpaceWire PCIe also contains powerful routing capabilities and an RMAP Target. The device can also be used as a router. The router facilitates packets from one SpaceWire port to be routed to another SpaceWire port or into the host PC via the PCIe interface. There are three independent channels from the SpaceWire router to the PCIe interface, so traffic flowing over one port cannot block traffic for another port. In addition there is a separate control channel, so that the host PC is always able to access the control, configuration and status space of the PCIe regardless of the data flow.

The powerful display allows users to group the devices in a simple device tree, Device/Port/Type, or Bus/Device/Function numbers. All register field descriptions are displayed by selecting the individual fields. Each register value in a single PCIe component's register can be read and if writable can be modified. The user can decode and change each bit value of any register on the fly using the built-in the PCIe specification display referenced for all registers. The extended register for M-PCIe is also decoded and displayed for devices supporting that specification. The PCIe/NVMe configuration space info on one system can be saved and later compared to a different system by loading a saved configuration onto a second system. Searching is available for locating PCIe devices. Other features include Auto Scan, Configuration Space View, Specification decoding for standard registers. Radiation Microdosimeters
Teledyne e2v HiRel Microdosimeter is a compact hybrid microcircuit which directly measures total ionizing dose (TID) absorbed by an internal silicon test mass. The test mass simulates silicon die of integrated circuits on-board a host spacecraft in critical mission payloads and subsystems. By accurately measuring the energy absorbed from electrons, protons, and gamma rays, an estimate of the dose absorbed by other electronic devices on the same vehicle can be made. The Microdosimeter can operate from a wide range of input voltages. The accumulated dose is presented to three dc linear outputs and one pseudo-logarithmic output giving a dose resolution of 14 µrads and a measurement range up to 40 krads. These outputs are intended to be directly connected to most analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) or spacecraft housekeeping analog inputs (0-5 V range), which makes minimal demands on the host vehicle. The Microdosimeter incorporates a test function to allow electrical testing of the hybrid without the need for a radiation source.
