Planar-Doped Barrier Diode Detector, 0.01 to 33 GHz

The Keysight 8474C is a high-performance detector using a gallium arsenide, planar-doped barrier detecting element. It features extremely flat frequency response over its entire band of operation and very good frequency response stability versus temperature. The Keysight 8474C is also very rugged with high resistance to ESD damage. The Keysight 8474C detector is available with a 3.5-mm (mates with SMA, 0.01 to 33 GHz) connector. This detector offers the options for optimal sqaure-law loads (Option 102) and for positive polarity output (option 103). Because the unit-to-unit frequency response tracking of this device is typically better than 0.3 dB, no matched response option is offered.

At PCE you will find both a contact and non-contact thermometer for measuring and recording temperature. There is a thermometer to measure different temperature ranges between -200 and 1767ºC / -328 ... 3212ºF. Measurement of temperature is done in many different sectors. We also offer a thermometer that can indicate temperature in ºC, K (Kelvin) and ºF, as well as another that is water resistant.A wide range of thermal elements and type-K sensors are available for the thermometer. Panasonic Automotive & Industrial Systems has launched this evaluation kit for its Grid-Eye infrared array sensor, which integrates a ”nanopower” Bluetooth Smart module and a microcontroller. The kit is intended for prototyping the Grid-EYE sensor which is a 64 pixel IR camera in a surface mount package measuring 11.6mm x 8mm x 4.3mm, which integrates the MEMS sensor, lens and I2C interface. The integrated Bluetooth module in the evaluation kit, the PAN1740, draws 4.9mA in transmit or receive operating modes, which means it can be powered by coin cell batteries. The IR sensor has 64 thermopile elements in an 8×8 grid format that detect absolute surface temperature without any contact.
