The Eastern OptX Series 1100 Radar Target Simulator is a true propagation path replicator. The Series 1100 receives the signal transmitted from a radar system and adds the round-trip propagation delay associated with the target distance. That signal is then output to the radar receiver. The radar I/O may be connected directly to the Series 1100 or detected and transmitted using user specified antenna. For a moving target the system will add the appropriate Doppler shift associated with the target speed and radar frequency. The Series 1100 is broad band with ranges up to 40 GHz and with a dynamic range of over 100 dB.

In addition to copper cables, the linear equalizer can be used for wired backplane and on-board applications. Adding linear equalization to a passive copper cable can enable the same copper cable to carry higher data rates for longer distances. MACOM’s new linear equalizer product line can extend a typical copper cable’s performance to 7.5 meters at 56 Gbps and 5 meters at 112 Gbps data rates. Customers can consider active copper cables as an alternative to passive copper cables or active optical cables. Key benefits include low power consumption from a single 3.3V supply, low latency, hardware and microcontroller management modes. The LX-08 series of high voltage logic analyzer adapters provides a safe isolated method of measuring high voltage control signals with a low voltage logic analyzer. All inbound signals are optically isolated and attenuated to a safe level for the delicate inputs typically found on logic analyzers. The inputs on the LX-08 are capable of withstanding voltages up to +/- 300V AC/DC, higher voltage configurations are available upon request. Rather than probing with multiple neon screwdrivers, the LX-08 can provide simultaneous viewing of up to 8 circuits in the STANDALONE mode via the indicator array. Need to catch a transient event or map out a timing sequence? Just add a logic analyzer to the outputs of the LX-08 and turn it into a high voltage logic analyzer. High voltage signals that were hazardous for a logic analyzer can now be measured safely. Typical outputs of a high speed PLC sequencer can be precisely timed and measured from both sides of the control relay. With the built in user selectable AC filter circuit, an AC signal can be measured as DC events or AC cycles.

Eddy-Current Brake Dynamometers (WB Series) are ideal for applications requiring high speeds and also when operating in the middle to high power range. Eddy-Current Brakes provide increasing torque as the speed increases, reaching peak torque at rated speed. The dynamometers have low inertia as a result of small rotor diameter. Brake cooling is provided by a water circulation system, which passes inside the stator to dissipate heat generated by the braking power. The water cooling in the WB provides high continuous power ratings (max. 140 kW). The WB dynamometers have accuracy ratings of 0.3% to 0.5% full scale ( 2% for WB 2.7), depending on size and system configuration. Additional options include: high-speed version, speed pickup, mechanical rotor blocking device, OEM version IS and vertical mounting.
