Rail Traction Inverter Test System
The rail inverter test system uses a pulse test methodology to verify proper operation of the IGBT switching elements in a subway car motor control. The system is designed to verify proper commutation of the switching elements. A large capacitor bank allows testing at DC voltages up to 1kV and peak currents of up to 3kA into reactive loads.The system also integrates self test capabilities and safe-to-turn-on (STTO) diagnostics to ensure no gross faults are present prior to the application of high voltages. Further the system includes dielectric withstand (hi-pot) test capability to ensure electrical safety.

GX5296
The GX5296 offers advanced dynamic digital I/O performance and capabilities in a single slot, 3U PXI format. The 32-channel, GX5296 features timing per pin, multiple time sets, data formatting, and an advanced sequencer – providing users with the capability to emulate and test complex digital busses for system, board or device test applications. Offering sub-nanosecond edge placement resolution per pin and a PMU per pin, the GX5296 has the ability to perform both DC and AC parametric testing. Each digital channel can be individually programmed for a drive hi, drive lo, sense hi, sense lo, and load value (with commutation voltage level). GX5960 Series
The GX5960 digital subsystem represents the highest level of performance available for PXI-based digital instrumentation and features high performance pin electronics and a timing generator / sequencer in a compact, 6U PXI form factor. The GX5960 series consists of the GX5961 clock generator board with 16 driver / sensor channels and the GX5964 driver / sensor board which supports 32 bi-directional I/O channels. Up to 528 digital I/O channels can be supported by the GX5960 digital subsystem. Test Bench for AC Compressors

The test bench is intended to test AC compressors of wide range of vehicles on R134a refrigerant. The equipment detects failures of a vehicle unit before its mounting in a car, whether it is a remanufactured, repaired unit or a used one. In the process of testing, data is shown on LCD display. It gives an opportunity to follow testing results realtime, save and/or print them due to software special features. Unit fixation mechanism is very flexible: a compressor can be easily fixed, no matter what kind of fittings it has. Units with electromagnetic clutch or electromagnetic valve can be tested both separately and simultaneously. Peculiar features of electric commutation are considered, connection polarity is identified automatically, indicator on the control panel indicates on presence of a diode in a circuit.

Inductive Motor Control
The inductive motor control position sensor family detects the electrical position within one pole-pair of a rotating shaft and can be used for the motor commutation of a brush-less DC (BLDC) motor. Based on the inductive sensor technology, this family measures the coupling between an excitation coil (TX) and two receiver coils (RX) via a rotating target. The coils are executed as printed circuit coils and the rotating target is a simple punched metal part. With the correct layout of the coils and the target, both synchronized to the number of pole-pair count of the motor, the IC output is proportional to the electrical angular position within one pole-pair segment with increased resolution and high performance of only 0.3° electrical INL!
