Vector Signal Transceiver
The PXIe-5842 is a vector signal transceiver (VST), which combines a vector signal generator and vector signal analyzer into a single four-slot PXI Express instrument. This VST provides the fast measurement speed and small form factor of a production test box with the flexibility and high performance of R&D-grade box instruments. The PXIe-5842 benefits from PXI modularity and scalability, as up to four PXIe-5842 VSTs can fit into one 18-slot PXI Chassis. Additionally, the VST provides the error vector magnitude (EVM) performance required to test a variety of cellular and wireless standards such as Wi-Fi 7 and 5G NR. The PXIe-5842 supports frequency coverage and bandwidth availability for a wide range of semiconductor, aerospace, and defense applications.

The M2p.59xx series allows recording of up to eight single-ended channels or up to four differential channels both with sampling rates of up to 125 MS/s. These PCI Express cards offer outstanding A/D features both in resolution and speed. The cards can be switched between single-ended inputs with a programmable offset and true differential inputs. If used in differential mode each two inputs are connected together reducing the number of available channels by half. The 16 bit vertical resolution have four times the accuracy compared to 14 bit cards and sixteen times the accuracy if compared with a 12 bit card. All boards of the M2p.59xx series may use the whole installed on-board memory of up to 512 MSamples completely for the currently activated number of channels.

The S930907B spectrum analysis (SA) adds high-performance microwave spectrum analysis to the N522xB/N524xB PNA family up to 70 GHz. With fast stepped-FFT sweeps resulting from optimized data processing, the SA application provides quick spurious searches over broad frequency ranges. Simultaneous spectrum measurements can be done using up to five test and reference receivers. This multi-channel SA can be used with the internal swept-signal generators for efficient measurements of spurious signals emanating from mixers and frequency converters. The SA application employs source-power and receiver-response calibration as well as fixture de-embedding, providing in-fixture and on-wafer spectrum measurements with the highest level of accuracy.
