Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) Analysis Solution
Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) Analysis SolutionMechanical shock pulses are often analyzed in terms of the shock response spectrum. The shock response spectrum assumes that the shock pulse is applied as a base input to an array of independent single-degree-of-freedom systems. SDOF system assumes that each system hat its own natural frequency.

Spectral Response SystemsQuantum Efficiency SystemsIPCE Measurement Systems
QE system provides electronics and software designed for fully automated measurement of external quantum efficiency of solar cells. All systems include probes and a fixed plate sample stage for samples up to 150 mm x 150 mm. The main system components include: custom designed software, measurement electronics, and computer system (Windows 8 operating system). The measurement involves focusing monochromatic light to a spot on the device under test, then accurately measuring the photon flux and current from the test cell. The system utilizes a dual beam configuration with lock-in detection, providing an absolute accuracy of ±3%. The QE system uses a grating monochrometer with silicon/InGaAs/Ge detectors. The system includes automatic order sorting filters and two light sources for monochromatic illumination (a Xenon- arc lamp and a halogen lamp). A single lock-in amplifier is used to measure both the reference detector and test device. The main system comes with all the hardware needed to measure quantum efficiency, a fixed plate sample stage and probes.

Pneumatic Vertical Shock Response Spectrum Test System
KRD14 series
KRD14 series pneumatic shock response spectrum tester is used to measure and determine the shock resistance of electrical and electronic products or packaging, and to evaluate the reliability and structural integrity of the test product in a shock environment. The shock response spectrum is the total result of a series of single-degree-of-freedom linear systems with different natural frequencies subjected to the same shock excitation response. When a product is subjected to an impact, the maximum value of its impact response means that the product has a maximum stress. Therefore, the shock response spectrum tester can better simulate the shock wave and shock energy suffered in the real environment.

Indoor Gunshot Detection And Response System
Pre-SenseShot
Information System Technologies Inc.
ISTI offers a new detection system to the facility security and safety industry to quickly neutralize an active shooter and more quickly secure and protect occupants. When confronted with an active shooter situation first responders and safety personnel face immediate tactical disadvantages. Beyond rushing towards ensuing chaos, 9-1-1 calls and eye witness reports are often disjointed, inaccurate, and lack precise location information required to make real time responsive decisions as they arrive on scene. Likewise within the building, the crisis triggers panic and chaotic scrambles towards exits and assumed safe havens. However unorganized and uniformed retreats may actually be leading evacuees back into harm’s way.

Frequency Response Analyzers
Frequency Response Analysis (also referred to as Transfer Function Analysis) measures the output spectrum of a system relative to a stimulus, and is used to characterize the dynamics of the system under test. The technique measures the magnitude and phase relationship between output and input waveforms as a function of frequency. The input signals may be from a wide range of sensors including acoustic (microphones/sonar), mechanical (accelerometers/displacement transducers), optical (photodetectors), and electrical (amplifiers).

Shock Response Spectrum Analysis
A Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) is a graphical presentation of a transient acceleration pulse’s potential to damage a structure. It plots the peak acceleration responses of a bank of single degree-of-freedom (SDOF) spring, mass damper systems all experiencing the same base-excitation as if on a rigid massless base. Each SDOF system has a different natural frequency; they all have the same viscous damping factor.
