Optical Delay
ODL
The Peregrine Optical Delay Line (ODL) provides an exceptional combination of precision, speed, and optical stability at a low price. It is ideally suited for pump-probe experiments and autocorrelation measurements (both interferometric and intensity methods). Advanced voice coil technology allows the ODL to be positioned anywhere in its travel range to within 150 nm. That’s 1 fs for a double-pass configuration. The response time is as short as 1 ms. Our 1-cm-travel ODL is interferometrically stable (measured using a 650 nm laser). No backlash, no hysteresis and no drive trains to wear out as with stepper motors. It’s convenient–the ODL can be positioned using digital commands, an analog voltage or a combination of the two. Two 16-bit on-board analog-to-digital converters simplify data collection. Digital inputs and outputs allow master or slave clocking. An executable Windows application is provided to get you up and running in minutes. In addition, DLLs and LabVIEW Vis for integration into your software are also included.

The DMC-41x3 motion controller is one of Galil's latest generation, stand-alone motion controller. Compared with the DMC-21x3 controller, the DMC-41x3 offers the following enhancements: 100BASE-T Ethernet, aux RS232 port, USB port, uncommitted analog inputs, up to 15 MHz encoder frequencies, more program memory, and faster sample frequencies. The DMC-41x3 also accommodates the same stepper and servo motor drives used in the DMC-40x0 series and allows two 4-axis 750 W drives to be installed in the 8-axis controller package. The DMC-41x3 is available as a box-level or card-level motion controller. The unit operates stand-alone or interfaces to a PC with Ethernet 10/100BASE-T, or USB. Programmable/Direct Reading Attenuators
Is a dual function direct reading and programmable rotary vane type attenuator for use in millimeterwave systems across the standard WR-03 frequency range of 220 to 330 GHz. The attenuator is an ideal piece of equipment in waveguide systems where a broad direct reading of attenuation is required. The default mode of operation is manual direct reading. In manual mode, the attenuation is adjustable with the large knob and the digital LCD screen displays the current attenuation value. The LCD screen is powered by an internal rechargable battery, which is charged via the 2.5mm DC jack by a provided DC to AC adapter. The 2.5mm DC jack also provides power to the stepper motor, encoder and internal microprocessor for the programmable mode function. The user can quickly switch to programmable mode by connecting the powered-up attenuator to a computer with the USB Type B port. In programmable mode, the attenuation is finely adjusted with a precision stepper motor by the internal microprocessor via user-entered serial port commands from the computer.
