Pulsed ESR/EPR: Pulsed Injection-locked IMPATT Amplifiers
Insight Product Company offers pulse injection-locked IMPATT amplifiers for pulse ESR/EPR experiments. Pulsed injection-locked amplifier incorporates IMPATT diode, ferrite input/output isolators, circulators, and pulse modulator. Only DC power supply, RF input signal, and external trigger signal are required to operate the amplifier. Output phase noise parameters are very close to the noise parameters of the input RF signal.

Signal Conditioning and Filtering
MSXB 067
The MSXB 067 Signal Conditioning Expansion Board provides analog signal conditioning for strain gauges, load cells, RTDs, and other resistive sensors. MSXB 067 provides a flexible interface for quarter-bridge, half-bridge, and full-bridge sensors, with two to six wires for each sensor, with or without voltage sense feedback. A small daughterboard supports user-supplied bridge completion resistors.

Isolation Amplifiers

Analog Devices ADuM3190 and ADuM4190 isolated error amplifiers have a 400 kHz bandwidth, with 0.5% typical initial accuracy at 25°C and 1% total accuracy over the extended temperature range of –40˚C to +125˚C. The HMC994APM 5E is a GaAs pHEMT MMIC Distributed Wideband Power Amplifier which operates between DC and 28 GHz. The amplifier provides 15 dB of gain, +29 dBm of saturated output power, and 25% PAE from a +10V supply. With up to +38 dBm Output IP 3 the HMC994APM 5E is ideal for high linearity applications in military and space as well as test equipment where high order modulations are used. Active Filter
J2190A
The J2190A active filter presents a high impedance (approximately 150kOhms) minimizing the loading of the circuit being tested. The output impedance is 50 Ohms allowing low noise coaxial connections to all typical test equipment. The 0.1Hz-10Hz noise band is common for opamp measurements, voltage regulators and voltage references. Many application notes offer schematics of such a filter for test purposes. An engineer’s time is much too valuable to be spent building test equipment. We have created a 4th order high pass and 4th order low pass filter with an optimally flat response and 0dB gain. Additional filters can be cascaded for even sharper cutoff.
