Voltage Input Module
The FD-11605 can measure up to eight channels with a voltage input range of ±60 V. It features 24-bit resolution with simultaneous sample rates up to 100 kS/s. The FD-11605 offers channel-to-channel isolation, which eliminates noise from ground loops and protects instrumentation circuitry from high-transient voltages of up to 1000 V. The FD-11605 has an ingress protection rating of IP65/IP67 (dust-tight and water-resistant),can operate in -40 °C to 85 °C environments, and can sustain 100 g shock and 10 g vibration. The FD-11605 incorporates Time Sensitive Networking (TSN) and features an integrated network switch and built-in power circuitry for simple daisy chaining. You program the FD-11605 with NI-DAQmx, which automatically synchronizes multiple FieldDAQ™ devices. The FD-11605 is ideal for test cell and outdoor environments.

These devices operate in a manner that is functionally equivalent to a Zener diode. The bias current must be set higher than the sum of the maximum quiescent current of the voltage reference and the maximum expected load current. Since shunt voltage references are typically biased with a resistor, the voltage reference can operate on a wide range of input voltages.

The TIA-4000 is comprised of a fibre coupled InGaAs APD detector combined with a variable reverse bias voltage network and fast transimpedance amplifier. The output of the unit is brought out to a type K female SMA connector. Light falling on the detector generates a positive-going proportional current. This current, multiplied by the transimpedance produces a voltage that is proportional to the light incident on the detector surface.

The most important features of the surge tester are its ability to test the entire winding insulation system. A high voltage surge generates turn to turn, coil to coil, and phase to phase voltage stress, as well as ground insulation stress. When used as a dielectric test, accurate voltage readings are essential. The HV Surge Tester monitors the voltage directly across the winding under test. This voltage is displayed on an oscilloscope and recorded on the Pass/ Fail LED latch monitor. This voltage will be accurate despite the impedance of the winding being tested. The insulation system can be tested way above the operating voltage because of the brief duration of the applied voltage test pulse. This allows faults to be detected long before they become apparent at operating conditions.
