Active Filter
J2190A
The J2190A active filter presents a high impedance (approximately 150kOhms) minimizing the loading of the circuit being tested. The output impedance is 50 Ohms allowing low noise coaxial connections to all typical test equipment. The 0.1Hz-10Hz noise band is common for opamp measurements, voltage regulators and voltage references. Many application notes offer schematics of such a filter for test purposes. An engineer’s time is much too valuable to be spent building test equipment. We have created a 4th order high pass and 4th order low pass filter with an optimally flat response and 0dB gain. Additional filters can be cascaded for even sharper cutoff.

Harmonic Filters
ENTES Harmonic Filter Reactors are used in serial connection with capacitor banks in power factor correction units. By using these types of detuned reactors it is possible to increase the capacitor impedance against harmonic currents and to keep the resonance frequency under the frequencies in which main harmonic currents occur by shifting the resonance frequency.

DC Filter Inductors
Osborne DC filter inductors (aka filter chokes) are commonly used in AC to DC conversion circuits to present an inductive voltage drop to the AC component of rectified current. This inductive voltage drop acts as a filter. Osborne designs filter inductors to components to function effectively (without saturation) in the presence of the DC current. Osborne will work with you to mitigate the impact of ripple frequency in conversion circuits. Every Osborne DC filter choke is designed for high performance with special consideration given to your circuit´s power supply frequency and conversion configuration.

Active Monopole Antenna
AM-741
The 41 inch Monopole antenna is required for making electric field emission measurements below 60 MHz per Military standards (MIL-STD-461) and FAA (DO-160) specifications. This antenna is for emissions measurements only. It cannot be used for transmitting. The Active Monopole antenna is generally used in a shielded room or in a screen room, with the equipment under test (EUT) placed on a metal ground plane. The 41 inch rod and the ground plane behave electrically as though a mirror image of the rod were located below the ground, and the ground removed. Since the stainless steel plate does not have enough surface area to mirror the entire 41 inch rod, it is bonded to the surrounding ground plane during use. The AM-741 is battery powered to prevent measurement errors that maybe caused by external power cables. The ANSI equivalent capacitance substitution (ECSM) method is the recommended method for calibrating AM-741 monopole antenna. The individual calibration data will be included with each antenna.

Active Differential Probe
DF-600
The DF-600 Differential Active Probe is a high input impedance and low input capacitance probe. It also supports extremely high frequency bandwidth, and high voltage input. It is designed using three OP amps, namely two FET buffer OP amps and a low offset OP amp. Therefore, even with long-term operations, the measured voltage will not drift. The voltage offset always approach 0 volts. (USB power supply should be 5V ±2%). The following diagram shows the circuit of DF-600.
