In this goniophotometer, the tested luminaire rotates in the prescribed burning position and around the vertical axle and a reflecting mirror rotates around the horizontal axle, meanwhile, a synchronous axle will rotate toward the opposite direction synchronously. The combined motion of the luminaire and mirror permit luminous measurement at the direction of any horizontal or vertical angle without tilting the luminaire, therefore, the luminous intensity will be not variation. The photometer head located at a fixed position of the limiting photomet- ric distance in front of the reflecting mirror to gather the light in each direction.

The Model T265 is the only commercially available US EPA Federal Reference Method for Ambient Ozone Monitoring according to the latest US EPA regulatory rules for O3. The instrument uses Chemilumescence with Nitric Oxide (NO) as a reagent, making is safe, stable, and effective for all applications. The NO-CL method for Ozone has several advantages over the conventional UV absorption technology, including the avoidance of positive and commonly found interferrents such as VOCs, fine particulates, Mercury, turpines, ClO2, and others. If these pollutants are present in the atmosphere, it can cause UV absorption analyzers to give an artificially high Ozone measurement. The innovative T265 combines speed of response, sensitivity and stability of our proven nitrogen oxide analyzer, with a simple user interface, to provide reliable ozone measurements under the harshest conditions.

This enables identification of leaks several hundred feet away from the source. Current traditional leak detection technology is slow, laborious and costly. Operators walk on foot near the pipeline with hand-held sensors making paper-based reports.This is slow and can lead to dangerous leaks being missed or not identified in a timely manner. ABB’s Ability mobile gas leak detection system delivers a low cost per leak solution with low false positives. Reporting includes mapping of the leaks available via a mobile app and measurements as Cloud-based service. The system consists of ABB’s Methane/Ethane Analyzer, a GPS, a sonic anemometer and proprietary leak detection software that presents real-time geospatial maps of multiple gas concentrations in real time. The software’s sophisticated leak detection algorithm combines the system’s measurements of gas concentrations (CH4, C2H6), local coordinates (GPS) and local wind velocity (sonic anemometer) to estimate the location of the leak. Readings are stored in the device and can be transmitted in real-time to the cloud for centralized monitoring.
