There are three different types of pressures that can be measured using Premier Electrosystems' Pressure Sensors: Gauge, Absolute, and Differential. Gauge pressure is the pressure measured relative to the ambient atmospheric pressure.A typical application for a gauge pressure sensor is to measure liquid levels in a vented tank using the difference in hydrostatic pressure and ambient atmospheric pressure. Absolute pressure sensors will give the result relative to zero (a perfect vacuum). This is useful in applications where there is a direct effect of altitude on the pressure being measured. Differential pressure sensors measure the difference in pressure between two points. Differential pressure sensors are often used to monitor airflow in HVAC applications.

The LilyPad Light Sensor is a sewable breakout board with an ALS-PT19 light sensor built in and ready to use right away. Each sensor outputs voltage between 0V and 3.3V depending on the level of ambient light shining on it. As more light is applied on the sensor, more current will flow from the board through the signal tab to the microcontroller you connect the sensor to. If the sensor receives no light, no current will flow through it. In a typical indoor lighting situation, the sensor will output around 1 to 2V. The EM-6873 Loop Sensor Antenna uses passive circuits to transform magnetic field components between 20 Hz – 100 kHz to an equivalent open circuit two-terminal voltage on the receiving instrument. Use of the conversion Factor Chart, supplied with each antenna, will yield the strength of the magnetic induction field referenced to a uniform field. The loop is electrostatically shielded and therefore is sensitive only to the magnetic component (B-field) of the electromagnetic fields.
