Frequency Converter Unit
FCU
The Astronics Frequency Converter Unit (FCU) provides frequency conversion of variable frequency aircraft power. Recent trends in aircraft power systems use variable frequency (VF) generators instead of fixed frequency of 400Hz. While the majority of aircraft loads can use VF power, select loads still exclusively require 400Hz and are best addressed by the use of FCUs. The FCU performs the task of converting the power line frequency by leveraging recent advances in solid-state technology to provide dramatic improvements in performance over traditional frequency converter solutions.

Frequency Demultiplexer
Becker Nachrichtentechnik GmbH
Modern receivers for broadcast have a large number of antenna inputs for the different radio bands. The devices of the FDMX series can be used to supply the antenna inputs with RF signals. The devices of the FDMX series splits a sum signal in frequency division multiplex into the individual broadcast bands and the L1 satellite navigation band (GNSS). Additionally, DC loads are provided for each antenna input to simulate active antennas. The presence of remote power supply is indicated by an LED on the units.

VDI Millimeter-Wave Frequency Extension Modules for PXA, MXA, EXA Signal Analyzers
These modules offer low conversion loss and excellent noise figure. Standard features include dual operating modes. First, the module can function as a high performance down-converting mixer. The second operating mode functions as a block down-converter with a broadband IF up to 20 GHz. Power to the module is provided via an included external DC power supply. These frequency extenders minimize conversion loss by multiplying and amplifying the LO signal internally, thus taking advantage of the benefits of low harmonic mixing. This architecture also preserves the X-Series precision frequency resolution and low phase noise, extending those qualities into the millimeter and sub-millimeter bands.

Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) Analysis Solution
Shock Response Spectrum (SRS) Analysis SolutionMechanical shock pulses are often analyzed in terms of the shock response spectrum. The shock response spectrum assumes that the shock pulse is applied as a base input to an array of independent single-degree-of-freedom systems. SDOF system assumes that each system hat its own natural frequency.

Redundant Frequency and Timing Systems
A unique feature of our frequency standards and distribution amplifiers is that the two separate parts of the redundant system are identical and can easily be inter-changed, for maintenance purposes. What we mean by this is that that we don't have a "Master" unit and a "Slave" unit. Whatever unit is powered up first becomes the master unit and the other becomes the slave unit.

Frequency Response Analyser
DP-cPCI-7554
DP-cPCI-7554 is a cPCI module capable of analyzing the phase and gain characteristics of a system. The system under test is stimulated by the user defined waveform. The obtained response is correlated with the applied stimulus by the on-board DSP processor to determine the phase difference and the gain.Gain and the face analysis is carried out only at sine waveform.
