The EAC-TAVS is a series of programmable high power AC voltage sources. Each system provides a three phase true sinewave output as standard. Each unit is built in a freestanding cabinet. The high resolution TFT front panel displays a host of measurement and setting functions. Besides standard models, other nominal power levels and voltages can be user specified. The 40-412A-021 (PXI) and 42-412A-021 (PXIe) are 64-Channel Digital Output modules with high output voltage and current capability. The outputs can be used for high or low drive and each channel is capable of sourcing 0.5A from the high side or 0.5A sink on the low side. Accidental operation of both high and low side driver on the same channel is prevented by the supplied driver. Outputs are fully protected against over-voltage, over-current and thermal overload, ensuring robust and reliable operation in the toughest test environments. For high side driving, the voltage source is supplied externally, allowing the module to drive high capacity loads separate from the chassis power supply. For low side driving, the external source is not used and the module’s output operates an open collector or open drain driver.

An SAS (Solar Array Simulator), consisting of an interconnection of several Solar Array Simulator modules, maps the solar panels and displays the individual strings connected in parallel. Optionally, the individual SAS modules are monitored by a Second Level Protection, so that the test object is not damaged in case of errors with the voltage sources.
