Colorimeter Logger Sensor

The colorimeter measures transmittance and absorbance of red, orange, green and blue light components projected on a solution. The colorimeter logger sensor has an opening for a special square solution cuvette. It turns on four different lights in known values and measures the received light that passes through the solution.

Sensors
A wide range of probes, sensors and signals is available for ALMEMO® data loggers and measuring instruments, which are connected via intelligent connectors with integrated data carrier. For common measuring tasks the connectors are configured at the factory and the measuring device automatically recognizes the connected sensor. All sensors can be calibrated, scaled and provided with a unique designation via the intelligent connectors. The programming always remains with the corresponding sensor, so that it can be connected to any input on the measuring instrument. Inaccuracies of a sensor can be corrected in the connector, thus turning simple sensors into precise transducers.

Contrast Sensors

Contrast sensors detect and compare contrasts very precisely through the use of different light sources such as white light, laser-generated red light or RGB light. The detected contrasts marks are then reported to the process with minimal signal jitter. Through the automatic selection of the right transmitter colors, various color or gray value combinations can be reliably detected. Bar graph indicators offer additional ease in making adjustments during manual setup.

Barometric Pressure Sensors
Accurate within 1.5 % across a pressure range of 15 to 115 kPa (4.43 to 34.96 in Hg). Long-term non-stability has been measured continuously indoors and in natural conditions (with sensors mounted inside a datalogger enclosure) for multiple sensors and is less than 0.5 % per year. Temperature effects on signal are less than 1 % across a wide temperature range (-20 to 50 C).

DIGISPEC Hall Effect Quadrature Sensors provide two digital output signals, 90º out of phase to each other, detecting speed (down to true zero speed) and direction of rotation of gear teeth and ferrous targets.
