The USB2251 Pressure Sensor Interface provides real-world data acquisition for your PC via the USB port. 8 calibrated variable reluctance pressure sensor inputs are accepted by the USB2251. No external signal conditioning is required.The USB2251 includes a connector panel for sensor cables, calibration constants for each sensor , configuration and data acquisition software. The USB2251 produces a floating-point value for all readings, directly in engineering units.The USB2251 can record pressure readings up to 5000 samples per second. Combined with the fast response of the Validyne VR pressure sensors, the USB2251 is ideal for transient pressure studies. The USB2251 is compatible with the following Validyne variable reluctance pressure sensors: AP10, DP103, DP10, DP45, DP15 DP360, DP215, and DP363. Each sensor is calibrated with the USB2251 at the factory and is ready to make measurements.

The Validyne model SI314 is a network interface that connects our model P61 USB pressure Transducer to your smart phone or network web browser. The SI314 supports Ethernet and Wi-Fi connections and will display current pressure readings and transducer status on any web browser or via smart phone. The SI314 also displays the transducer temperature, date of calibration, model and serial numbers and these can be viewed wirelessly or by Ethernet connection. The SI314 makes your P61 accessible from anywhere in the world. Data logging of pressure data is configured via a web browser or smart phone and readings may be stored once per minute to once per hour. A thumb drive or memory card collects the data in comma separated file format(csv) for download to your computer. The data may also be accessed via the network. A graph of the data is also generated on request. A Twitter function allows pressure data to be tweeted from the SI314 at user-defined intervals. The transducer zero and span calibration adjustments are password protected and operated via browser buttons. No potentiometer adjustments are required to calibrate the P61 transducer. Samples are taken from molten metal, thin sheet, semi-complete or complete products. When sampling molten metal with a ladle, small quantities of molten metal are poured into a casting mold. Unnecessary parts of the sample are removed using a grinder or a cutter. As particles from a grinder may contaminate the surface of the sample, a lathe or milling machine is used (not a grinder) to cut soft samples such as white metal. If trace elements are not being investigated, a grinder or belt sander can be used. However, to minimize contamination, the grinding wheel or belt should be changed for each sample. Samples excised from semi-complete or complete products must be at least 12 mm in diameter. Small rod-shaped samples can be analyzed using special equipment.

The Innovative Technical Systems ITS-9050 Detector is a sensitive, harmonic mixing detector designed to measure millimeter-wave free-space radiation. It is ideal for measuring radiation patterns of antennas inboth the near and far-field. The ITS-9050 employs a free-running dielectric resonator oscillator (DRO) and an integrated harmonic mixer with a waveguide RF input that either connects directly to a circuit under test or to an antenna for radiation detection. The resulting IF is amplified and detected by an IF log-detector that drives a front panel LCD voltmeter to provide an indication of signal strength. A DC output voltage from the log detector is available on a BNC connector to drive external data acquisition instrumentation. Also, a sample of the IF output is provided for measurement on a spectrum analyzer.
