The Feasa Legend is an innovative solution with numerous advantages for applications with a large number of LEDs. The Feasa Legend system comprises two components, a hub and an LED analyser. The hub can be mounted on a test station or in the test fixture. The Legend can control up to eight LED analysers. Each LED analyser can test up to 20 LEDs and a fully equipped hub can test up to 160 LEDs. Several hubs can also be combined for a larger number of LEDs.The Feasa Legend is available in 60, 80, 100, 120, 140 and 160 channel configurations.The Legend Hub measures 130 mm x 55 mm x 30 mm - the Legend Analyser, on the other hand, measures 120 mm x 29 mm x 50 mm.Each channel has a fibre length of 0.6 m, whereby the fibre has a diameter of 1.00 mm including cladding and a bending radius of 15 mm. The long light source is compatible with the LM-101 or the LMC-20. The light is supplied with a 50 watt tungsten halogen convection cooled light source which provides suffcient energy for use with narrow band pass filters or monochronomators in the wave length range of .35 to 2.5 microns. The light beam is chopped at 200 hz by a quiet, vibration free, synchronous motor. The housing also contains a secondary LED light source and detector for synchronization of the amplifier, plus an electro-mechanical shutter to block the light output when the instrument is zeroed. An internal collimating lens produces a narrow beam (<1") so the LM-A can be used in bell-jar and large coating systems.

These high stability variable frequency optical choppers each include a set of chemically blackened photoetched chopping discs. The mini chopper is an excellent choice for applications requiring a compact package. The chopping discs come in a variety of slot apertures and allow operation. Beam diameter is limited to 0.75mm when using the 200-slot disc and 1.0mm when using the 40 slot mini disc. The easy-to-interchange blades are made of non-magnetic, half hard brass and can be used in combination. Chopping frequency is set by adjusting a ten-turn dial or by applying an external DC voltage to the BNC input. Reference output is a TTL pulse and is in-phase with chopping action. The 5 digit led display gives a direct read-out of the chopping frequency. Power: 90-130V or 180-260V; 50/60Hz; 12VA max. Power supply included. Choppers are often used together with lock-in amplifiers.
