Ethernet To Parallel Digital Interface Boards

ICS's Ethernet Parallel Digital Interface boards provide the user with a wide range of IO signals that can be user configured to match virtually any application. These Ethernet boards are available with high power relay driver boards and with optional firmware designed to simplify switching applications. The 80x3 boards have high-power TTL signals that can sink 48 mA and source 24 mA. Pullup resistors make it easy to interface with CMOS logic and to sense contact closures. User configures data byte direction and polarity. The 80x3 boards are VXI-11 compliant for operation with NI or Agilent VISA, LabVIEW and VEE and support raw socket connections. The new 8113 board is a CMOS close of the 8013 board with user set 3.3 or 5 V logic levels. Pinouts and command set is the same as the 8013 board. The 8113 communicates with TCP/IP(Raw Socket) protocoland and also has a RS-232 Serrial Port. All boards are designed for mounting against the rear panel or inside a chassis and use our Ethernet Wiring Kit for easy connection to a Ethernet Connector on the rear panel.

The MINI-MAX, Ultrasonic Bolt Tension Monitor, defines the state of the art in the measurement of the actual elongation produced by tightening a threaded fastener. The MINI-MAX can measure the elongation very accurately in fasteners of virtually any material from 1/2 inch to 4 feet in length. The measurement is achieved by determining the change in the transit time, of an ultrasonic shock wave along the length of the fastener as the fastener is tightened by any method. The on-board microcomputer automatically interprets this time measurement to display the time(nanoseconds), elongation, load, stress, or %strain from stretching a fastener. Through the use of high speed digital signal processing and automated diagnostics, the MINI-MAX minimizes the requirement for extensive operator training. The A2T is a single axis, digital gravity angle sensor. The A2T serves as a full 360 range absolute tilt sensing programmable level with either digital or analog output. Internally, a rotary bar coded disk is mounted to a weighted gravity driven wheel. A micro-controller strobes an LED to transfer the bar code image onto an optical linear array, then decodes the position every 2 mSec. Magnetic damping provides fast response and settling time while virtually eliminating overshoot and oscillations. An internal EEPROM stores field programmable parameters such as resolution, zero position, direction swap, and mode. This second generation design virtually eliminates the primary accuracy limitation of first generation inclinometers, which is sitation (hysteresis).
