The VPX56H2-6 is NAI's latest high power, High Efficiency 1,400 Watt, High Efficiency AC/DC Converter which accepts either a 3Ø 115 VAC L-N inputs or a +270 VDC input. It plugs directly into a standard 6U VPX chassis with a (VITA 62) 1.0” power supply slot. This off-the-shelf solution for VITA 46.0 and VITA 65 systems is compatible with VPX specifications; supports all VITA standard I/O, signals, and features; and conforms to the VITA 62 mechanical and electrical requirements for modular power supplies.

Digital-to-Analog (D/A) module DA5 provides 4 independent D/A output channels (half-bridge) utilizing a single external supplied power source with full-scale operating range of 0-65 VDC (V-control mode) and 0-2 A (I-control mode). Alternatively, two channels can be paired (full-bridge) to achieve a full-scale operating range of ±65 V and ±2 A from a single external supplied power source. Linearity/accuracy is ±1% FS range over temperature. The DA5 provides either voltage or current control loop modes, which are programmable for the application.

NAI’s 109 is an AC- or DC-Powered Power Monitor used to monitor voltage, frequency, and phase characteristics of single- or three- phase power lines. Synchros and Resolvers are transformer-type voltage/current transducers that convert a shaft or other rotating device's angular position and/or velocity to a multi-wire AC electrical signal. Both deliver signals proportional to the Sine and/or Cosine of the shaft angle. A Resolver-to-Digital or a Synchro-to-Digital converter is used to convert these signals to a digital output corresponding to the shaft angle and/or velocity.

The maximum programmable, expected full-scale range input for the AD1 module is ±1.25 to ±10 VDC and ±12.5 to ±100 VDC respectively. The A/D converters have programmable sample rates of up to 256 kHz.
