Es'hail-2

The geostationary amateur radio satellite Es'Hail-2 is in the air. Our development team worked on a great all-in-one solution to use the satellite from Qatar as a radio amateur. The result was the standalone up converter for the OSCAR PHASE 4 and a low noise down converter. The products were shown for the first time in 2017 and 2018 at Ham Radio in Friedrichshafen. Even then, the interest of our amateur radio customers was great. On 15.11.2018 it was finally time! The rocket that launched the satellite into space began punctually at 21:45 in Florida with numerous spectators on site and in a live stream. Up-Converter

. Internal filters provide high spurious rejection and image rejection. Due to low phase noise and high frequency stability of the local oscillator at 3000 MHz, the up converter is suitable for analog and digital communication systems.Typical applications are Multichannel Multipoint Distribution Systems (MMDS) using QPSK modulation and DVB?T or DVB?S systems. The output power of 20 mW can be increased to several watts by the use of an additional power amplifier.
