Digital Force Gauges
-
Imada digital force gauges are highly accurate instruments that provide the precise force measurement required in quality testing that determines strength and/or functionality of a part or product. Digital gauges can be used for destructive or non-destructive force measurement applications and check both compression and tension (push or pull) forces. The high sampling rate of Imada digital gauges enables them to capture the peak force of destructive tests which occurs in milliseconds. Imada digital force gauges also feature selectable units: lbf, kgf and N and easy-to-program high/low setpoints for Go/No Go testing.

Strobes & Tachometers
-
Imada is proud to introduce a line of speed measurement instruments from Hoto Instruments. Stroboscopes can be used to measure the measure the linear rotational speed of rapidly rotating objects. Imada also offers a digital tachometer / lengthmeter. The tachometer / lengthmeter measures speed or revolutions and features exceptional accuracy even at low speeds. The tachometer can be paired with an optional 12″ wheel to measure the surface speed of conveyer belts and similar machinery.

Peel Testers
-
Imada offers motorized peel testers in vertical or horizontal configurations. The motorized test stand, digital force gauge and peel fixture apply tension to a safety seals, tapes and laminates.Special attachments and fixtures facilitate 45°, 90°, 180°, ‘T’ and rotary peel tests.Motorized peel testers offer speed control and highest degree of repeatability with the ability to set a constant test speed and range of movement. All peel testers with digital force gauges have data output capability for analysis by optional data acquisition software.

Tension Testers
-
Tension testers come in a variety of options. Lever-operated testers allow for quick and repeatable tension testing, making them ideally suited for measurement in high-throughput environments. The wheel-operated tensions tester allows for more precise control, which is critical whenever testing delicate materials. Our motorized tension tester provides consistent test speeds providing more accurate and repeatable results.

Force Displacement Testers
-
Force displacement testing measures how much force is required to displace or deform a specific component or material. It’s an important aspect of quality control in manufacturing as well as material science. It’s necessary to help ensure products are made to the proper standards and to verify the properties of certain materials. Imada provides a range of force displacement testers that provide precise and accurate measurements, with numerous features to help technicians complete testing as quickly and effectively as possible.

Durometer Hardness Testers
-
IMADA, Inc., provides accurate measuring devices for every need. Some of the many high-quality instruments we manufacture are durometers. Durometers are important to the manufacturing sector because they measure the hardness of materials. These include normal and hard rubber, as well as soft and hard plastics, by assessing the resistance to indentation of polymers, elastomers, and rubbers. They do this by applying pressure to the surface of an object via an indentor and measuring the level of resistance. The results are expressed in terms of the Shore hardness scale, which varies based on the materials.

Surface Speed Meter
-
Consists of an industrial grade heavy-duty surface speed encoder with metal housing and large bearings and a digital indicator. The system delivers repeatable and accurate measurements of surface speed. The dual, anti-slip rubber rimmed wheels are perfect for measuring paper, plastic, laminates and other smooth finish materials.

Auto Loading Durometer
-
P2 Auto Durometers maximize the repeatability of hardness tests. The P2 features digital speed control to ensure constant speed during hardness tests. The proprietary flexible coupling ensures perfect contact with test samples. All operation and program functions are controlled using the touch screen LCD panel or remotely using an Ethernet connection. Both automated or manual tests can be performed. Dual timers enable recording of the “creep phenomenon” or tendency of the reading to move back as time elapses from the moment the sensor makes full contact with the sample.

Handheld Durometers
-
Imada offers a number of options for handheld durometers. These devices are used to test the hardness of materials for quality control or comparison purposes. For example, automotive manufacturers may want to test tires to make sure they are capable of resisting punctures. Products made with foam rubber may be tested with a durometer to ensure they are soft enough to be handled safely by children.
