Imada also offers a digital tachometer / lengthmeter. The tachometer / lengthmeter measures speed or revolutions and features exceptional accuracy even at low speeds. The tachometer can be paired with an optional 12″ wheel to measure the surface speed of conveyer belts and similar machinery.

Durometer Hardness Testers

IMADA, Inc., provides accurate measuring devices for every need. Some of the many high-quality instruments we manufacture are durometers. Durometers are important to the manufacturing sector because they measure the hardness of materials. These include normal and hard rubber, as well as soft and hard plastics, by assessing the resistance to indentation of polymers, elastomers, and rubbers. They do this by applying pressure to the surface of an object via an indentor and measuring the level of resistance. The results are expressed in terms of the Shore hardness scale, which varies based on the materials.

Imada digital force gauges are highly accurate instruments that provide the precise force measurement required in quality testing that determines strength and/or functionality of a part or product. Digital gauges can be used for destructive or non-destructive force measurement applications and check both compression and tension (push or pull) forces. The high sampling rate of Imada digital gauges enables them to capture the peak force of destructive tests which occurs in milliseconds.
