Handheld spectrum analyzer/Signal analyzer
Recently, a lot of equipment have taken the high frequency or microwave technology according to the advancement and the spread of the telecommunication equipment. As a result, the handheld spectrum analyzer to analyze the signal by the frequency domain is necessaries now. The handheld spectrum analyzer is roughly classified into a heterodyne method and a Fourier transform method. The heterodyne method is also called the swept frequency method and makes it possible to measure up to tens of GHz though only for the steady signal. On the other hand, the Fourier transform method is also called the real time method and can handle an unsteady signal though the low measuring frequency range up to tens of MHz. As for our spectrum analyzer or signal analyzer, the MSA300/400 series adopts the swept frequency method, and the MSA500 series adopts both the swept frequency method and the Fourier transform method.

Spectrum Analysis
S95090B
The S95090B spectrum analyzer (SA) measurement software adds high-performance microwave spectrum analysis to PXI VNAs. With fast stepped-FFT sweeps resulting from optimized data processing, the SA software application provides quick spurious searches over broad frequency ranges. The S95090B software uses the PXI network analyzer's test and reference receivers to complete simultaneous spectrum measurements. Multi-channel SA measurements leverage the PXI VNA's internal swept-signal generators for efficient measurements of spurious signals emanating from mixers and frequency converters. The S95090B spectrum analyzer software application employs source-power and receiver-response calibration as well as fixture de-embedding, providing in-fixture and on-wafer spectrum measurements with the highest level of accuracy. Optional external attenuators should be connected with the VNA’s test ports to avoid receiver compression when measuring large signals.

PCIe Digital Waveform Acquisition with Programmable Threshold - 250 MBit/s Internal Sampling Rate Timing, 250 MBit/S External State Clock
M4I.7720-X8
The M4i.77xx-x8 series digital waveform acquisition (logic-analyzer) cards include versions with 32 synchronous channels, either single-ended with programmable threshold levels or differential. The large onboard memory can be segmented to record different waveform sequences. While the M4i.77xx cards have been designed using the latest technology they are still software compatible with the drivers from earlier Spectrum digital acquisition cards. Therefore existing customers can use the same software they developed for a 10 year old 60 MS/s digital input card also for an M4i.77xx series 720 MS/s logic analyzer.
