78 Pin D-type Connector & Cable Accessories
The Standard Voltage 78 Pin D-Type connector is used on PXI and LXI switching products to provide a medium density user connector solution. If you would like to develop your own cabling solutions, we offer mating connectors and connector hoods that allow you to create either your own cable based solutions, or a PCB header solution. Connector Blocks directly terminate the module connector and convert the connection to arrays of screw terminal blocks, or you can select to use a remote DIN rail mounted breakout to terminate the cables at the end of a cable assembly. You can also try our Cable Design Tool to graphically design a customized cable assembly.

PXI Signal Insertion Switch Module
PXI Signal Insertion Switch Modules, also known as fault insertion units (FIUs), provide a set of feedthrough channels, which make the switch transparent to the system when closed. You can open or short these channels to one of two fault buses, allowing you to simulate open or interrupted connections as well as shorts between pins, shorts to battery voltages, and shorts to ground on a per-channel basis. When controlled with the LabVIEW Real-Time Module, the PXI Signal Insertion Switch Module can validate the integrity of control systems including engine control units (ECUs) and full authority digital engine controls (FADECs). You can also use the FIU models for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) applications and electronic reliability tests.

Automated Measurement Expert (AMX), VNA Plugin

The Keysight automated measurement expert (AMX) is a smart software solution for automated multiport S-parameter measurements with the PXIe vector network analyzers M937xA/M9485A or the benchtop E5080A ENA network analyzer. The S94702A AMX VNA plugin adds S-parameter measurement capabilities to the Keysight test automation platform (TAP). The combination of the TAP and the VNA plugin forms the AMX backend software, which makes the VNA setups and executes the test sequences in the PXIe controller according to the optimized test sequence files generated by the AMX test plan builder. Other instrument plugins allow you to control the DUT mode, expand the number of test ports with the PXI switches or multiport test set, and use external instruments such as a DC power supply and a digital multimeter. The AMX backend software also provides step-by-step calibration wizard for full multiport calibration using the 4-port ECal module.
