The Keysight 346CK01 is the ideal companion to Keysight´s noise figure solutions when working on high frequency applications. Since it is broadband (1 GHz to 50 GHz), it eliminates the necessity for several sources at different frequency bands. The low SWR of the noise source reduces a major source of measurement uncertainty, which are reflections of the test signals. This is a coaxial noise source with a 2.4 mm coaxial connector. ENR typically 20 dB at 1 GHz, decreasing to typically 7 dB at 50 GHz.

DT-670 Series silicon diodes offer better accuracy over a wider temperature range than any previously marketed silicon diodes. Conforming to the Curve DT-670 standard voltage versus temperature response curve, sensors within the DT-670 series are interchangeable and, for many applications, do not require individual calibration. DT-670 sensors in the SD package are available in four tolerance bands—three for general cryogenic use across the 1.4 K to 500 K temperature range and one that offers superior accuracy for applications from 30 K to room temperature. For applications requiring greater accuracy, DT-670-SD diodes are available with calibration across the full 1.4 K to 500 K temperature range.

Short Light Source

The short light source is compatible with the LM-101 or the LMC-20. The light is supplied with a 50 watt tungsten halogen convection cooled light source which provides suffcient energy for use with narrow band pass filters or monochronomators in the wave length range of .35 to 2.5 microns. The light beam is chopped at 200 hz by a quiet, vibration free, synchronous motor. The housing also contains a secondary LED light source and detector for synchronization of the amplifier, plus an electro-mechanical shutter to block the light output when the instrument is zeroed. An internal collimating lens produces a narrow beam (<1") so the LM-AS can be used in bell-jar and large coating systems.
