100mA One-Channel Amplifiers
Piezo amplifiers/controllers are designed for high precision positioning of low-voltage piezo actuators. These amplifiers are tuned for extremely high output stability and extremely low signal noise at the output. A low amplifier signal-to-noise ratio is very important because it determines the total resolution of the actuator. Thomson introduces our Electrak Pro Series of linear actuators. This family stands alone when it comes to the toughest and most demanding applications. Available in 12 or 24 VDC models with customizable stroke lengths up to 300 mm (12 in), these units can push or pull loads up to 4448 N (1000 lbf) at speeds of 20 mm/s (0.8 in/s) and hold loads up to 9000 N (2000 lbf), or contact our factory for longer strokes or higher loads. The module has built-in open-loop detection, which generates an interrupt in software when an open loop is detected as well as zeroing outputs to ensure safety and avoid driving actuators at system power on. The NI‑9265 requires an external power supply and includes a channel‑to‑earth ground double isolation barrier for safety and noise immunity.
