Long Light Source
LM-A
The long light source is compatible with the LM-101 or the LMC-20. The light is supplied with a 50 watt tungsten halogen convection cooled light source which provides suffcient energy for use with narrow band pass filters or monochronomators in the wave length range of .35 to 2.5 microns. The light beam is chopped at 200 hz by a quiet, vibration free, synchronous motor. The housing also contains a secondary LED light source and detector for synchronization of the amplifier, plus an electro-mechanical shutter to block the light output when the instrument is zeroed. An internal collimating lens produces a narrow beam (<1") so the LM-A can be used in bell-jar and large coating systems.

Test Of Hand Pneumatic Tools
The measuring system consists of a test site and a control rack. The test site is equipped with a mounting for the test tool with measuring sensors: vibration, torque and speed, as well as a pneumatic regulator, a filter and a powder type brake clutch. The maximum torque test is performed until the rotation is completely stopped. The screen displays both the directly measured maximum torque and the calculated maximum power of this sample. R.F. Coupler and high Pass Filter

There are those who disagree with the r.f. conducted susceptibility test setup of Method CS02 of MIL-STD-462. Homemade rigs have sprouted to comply with the coupling capacitor requirement, each with it own disadvantage. Our little Type 7415-3 R.F. Coupler is the answer. A neat little box with BNC connectors and a pair of binding posts, it is rated at 270 V.A.C. at the LINE terminals and 20 volts PMS into the GEN port. Looks good and does a fine job.

Model RAD242 is an intelligent, two-differential-channel, 24-bit analog-input interface unit that includes a Delta-Sigma A/D converter. The converter has a digital output filter with adjustable notch frequency from 10 Hz to 2000 Hz. The pod also has 13 bits of digital input/output. A precision 10 VDC voltage that can be used for transducer excitation is available at connector pin 5. As much as 60 mA current can be provided. The 64-VBF 10th order Lowpass Filter is a dual channel filter with independent switch settable Cutoff Frequency (Fc). The filter has a linear phase DC accurate root raised cosine response. The unit’s differential inputs are built to withstand high DC over-voltages up to ±50 VDC and greater than ±100 V transients. Gain of the unit is 1 allowing for minimal insertion issues.
