This model is capable of handling up to 30W RF input power as a splitter and passing up to 4A DC current from the sum port to alloutput ports (100mA each port). Its outstanding combination of high power and low loss minimize intrinsic losses and provide excellent signal fidelity from input to output. The EW IFU (Electronic Warfare Interface Unit) interfaces between Cockpit electronics viz., RWR Display Unit (DU), New control Box (NCB), CMDS Control/Display units and Simulator Host Computer (HOST). The EW IFU transmits the status of the cockpit control units to the host, receives display data from the host and transfers the same to RWR DU, NCB and CMDS CCU/CDU. The display data for the RWR DU received from the host would comprise of the complete symbol data in respect of emitters that are to be displayed based on the data from the Instructor Station (IS) and control input from the cockpit. The display unit receives and presents the data as symbology on the display screen. The EW IFU based on the PC–AT.

The RA062-F2 is a multiple LO module used to generate three pairs of LO signals, each pair being phase matched in order to provide the capability to drive two phase and amplitude matched, high sensitivity narrowband receivers such as might be required for an EW receiver system with DF functionality.The Stepped Frequency Synthesiser is based upon Direct Frequency Synthesis, DFS, whereby the 1GHz input reference signal is multiplied, filtered and mixed to generate a given number of isolated and filtered single tone CW signals from the 1GHz comb. A finely tuned signal is then generated using a multi-way switch to select between the 1GHz spaced CW tones and mixed with fine resolution signals generated using a custom DDS/VCO PLL network. In this way finely tuned signals can be generated between 7.5GHz and 23GHz.
