Multi-Axis Motion Controllers
DMC-40x0
The DMC-40x0 motion controller is Galil's highest performance, stand-alone motion controller. It belongs to Galil's latest generation motion controller family, which accepts encoder inputs up to 22 MHz, provides servo update rates as high as 32 kHz, and processes commands as fast as 40 microseconds-10 times the speed of prior generation controllers. The DMC-40x0 is a full-featured motion controller packaged with optional multi-axis drives in a compact, metal enclosure. The unit operates stand-alone or interfaces to a PC with Ethernet 10/100Base-T or RS232. The controller includes optically isolated I/O, high-power outputs capable of driving brakes or relays, and analog inputs for interfacing to analog sensors. The DMC-40x0 controller and drive unit accepts power from a single 20-80 VDC source.

The DMC-500x0 EtherCAT Controller is Galil Motion Control's newest entry in its latest generation of digital motion controllers. Incorporating all of the features of our flagship Accelera series controller and designed with compatibility and flexibility in mind, the DMC-500x0 allows integration of remote EtherCAT drives into new and existing applications with just a handful of configuration commands. The DMC-500x0 is offered in 1 through 8 axis formats. Axes 1 - 4 can be configured as either local or EtherCAT drives while axes 5 – 8 can be configured for additional EtherCAT drives. Unique to the motion control industry, this ability to mix and match local and EtherCAT drives on the same controller provides increased flexibility for any application. In addition, the DMC-500x0 is fully compatible with Galil’s internal servo and stepper motor amplifiers as well as third party external drives.

32-Axis PCIe EtherCAT MainDevice Motion Controller
PCIe-8334
ADLINK PCIe-8334 is a hardware-based EtherCAT motion controller able to support up to 32 synchronized axes and over 10,000 points simultaneously. The PCIe-8332 features dedicated isolated emergency stop input (EMG), and configurable isolated high-speed digital input as not only generic sensor input but also pulsar input, with up to 1MHz input frequency. Optimum jitter control is provided in minimal cycles of 250µs to optimize synchronous I/O performance for vertical automation applications in semiconductor, electronic manufacturing, and others. The PCIe-8334 provides an out-of-shell application-ready (APS) function library to generate multi-dimensional, highly synchronized, time-deterministic event-triggered motion & I/O control. A wide range of compatible 3rd party SubDevice are easily designed with ADLINK's APS function library.
