±20 V, ±2 A DC, 40 W PXI Source Measure Unit - The PXI‑4130 is a programmable source measure unit (SMU). It has a single isolated SMU channel that offers a four-quadrant output that incorporates remote (4‑wire) sense. With its five current ranges, it is ideal for transistor characterization that requires accurately sourcing a constant current or voltage while sweeping another current. The PXI‑4130 also includes a utility channel that can source either current or voltage. This PXI SMU can act as either a constant voltage source or a constant current source, with a settable compliance limit for either mode. In addition, you can enable remote sense on the SMU channel to maximize voltage output and measurement accuracy on your device under test (DUT) for high-precision applications.

The Model CS-48-100 is a multi-channel, programmable current source. Developed for both semiconductor and digital superconductor electronics, it is computer-controlled and features 48 low noise current source outputs. Each source output has the capability to both set and read back currents and can be set to a zero current high Z mute state. Each of the 48 sources are optically coupled for control and are sourced from their own secondary winding for complete galvanic isolation. The device consumes a maximum of only 80 W and handles a maximum load current of 4.8 A total over all outputs. Operating over a range of 0-100 mA on each channel, the device features accuracy of +/-25 ?A. The mute state can be set thru a rear panel interlock or from the front panel button for maximum circuit protection. The unit can be mounted in a standard-sized rack.

The short light source is compatible with the LM-101 or the LMC-20. The light is supplied with a 50 watt tungsten halogen convection cooled light source which provides suffcient energy for use with narrow band pass filters or monochronomators in the wave length range of .35 to 2.5 microns. The light beam is chopped at 200 hz by a quiet, vibration free, synchronous motor. The housing also contains a secondary LED light source and detector for synchronization of the amplifier, plus an electro-mechanical shutter to block the light output when the instrument is zeroed. An internal collimating lens produces a narrow beam (<1") so the LM-AS can be used in bell-jar and large coating systems.
