Fibolocator is an innovative device for measuring and characterizing breaks and other backscattering-causing faults in optical fibers. Time-resolved correlation reflectometry is the principle on which the device is based. It analyzes the backscattered light like a pulse OTDR, but unlike such OTDRs, cw laser diodes are used.
