High Speed Device & Flash Programmer
JT 2147 QuadPOD
The JT 2147 QuadPOD high speed device programmer and flash programmer comprises JT 2148 transceiver and four independent, programmable JT 2149 TAP PODs and provides signal conditioning for the DataBlaster series of boundary-scan controllers. Used for gang, parallel, fast testing / Programming of devices.TAP pods can be housed integrally within the transceiver or they can be detached and reconnected via the (optional) one meter extension cable. The JT 2148 transceiver is available in standard (/10) or industrial (/13) variants. The /13 variant includes a SCSI cable splitter to allow system integrators to use flat ribbon cables into the transceiver itself which often simplifies fixture building.A fixture-embedded variant of the JT 2147 is available as part reference JT 2147/FXT. This unit integrates the function of the transceiver and four pod onto a single assembly. The ProDAQ 5821 series of Signal Conditioning Cards is designed to interface with a variety of sensors, principally RTDs, Thermistors, Cryogenic Diodes and Voltage type sensors. Each version of the 5821 provides the capability of precise 4-wire measurement. In order to achieve this, a precise 500μA constant current source is provided per channel. The current source can be disabled on a per channel basis and is monitored to ensure that current is flowing. The value of the output current is stored on-board after calibration. In order to achieve the highest accuracy the output current may be automatically calibrated 'on-the-fly' using the ProDAQ 3416 24-bit Sigma-Delta ADC card and an on-board precision resistor.

The Model 3541 is designed for determination of fracture mechanics parameters such as JIC, KIC, R-curve, fatigue crack growth rate (da/dN), and testing to standards such as E1820, E399, E647, etc. These COD gages conform to the requirements of E1820 (the replacement for E813 and E1737) for JIC and R-curve determination. Special configurations are available to meet the requirements of ASTM E399 for fracture toughness (please consult the factory for these configurations). In addition, the modified groove design complies with E1820 tests where greater stability and accuracy results from the sharper groove root. Clip-on gages are used for a variety of fracture mechanics tests, including compact tension, arc shaped, disk shaped, bend specimens or other specimen geometries in compliance with ASTM and other standards organization’s test methods. Clip-on gages can be used directly on test specimens where the knife edges are integral with the test specimen or, alternately, with optional bolt-on knife edges mounted on the test specimen.The Model 3541 extensometers are strain gaged devices, making them compatible with any electronics designed for strain gaged transducers. This model is for diametral strain measurement with furnace and induction heating systems. Quartz rods and water-cooling allow the unit to be used for high temperature testing of metals, ceramics and composites. With induction heating, this model often can be used without water-cooling. Optional load frame mounting brackets are available for supporting the extensometer in cases where furnace mounting is not possible.
