Wavefront Modeling And Simulation
-
The CAST-CRPA Simulation Systems provide a precise, coherent, and repeatable GNSS RF signal “wavefront”, that is a perfect solution for testing phased array, or “CRPA” antenna systems, in a laboratory environment. The system generates a complete set of RF signals for each antenna element, which are referenced to the phase center of the antenna manifold. In addition, the CAST system allows users to add interference and IMU signals that can also stimulate EGI’s and a wide range of modernized navigation devices.

GPS/GNSS Antenna Signal Splitter 2-Way, TNC Female, IP67 Weatherproof, 1-2 GHz
GPS221
-
INSTOCK Wireless Components, Inc
GPS221 is a two way, passive, GPS signal splitter ideal for splitting a GPS antenna signal between two receivers while providing a DC current path to power a remotely located active GPS antenna from one receiver while blocking the DC path from the other. Furnished with TNC female connectors all ports. A special feature of this unit is the 200 ohm internal load which provides a current drain for the GPS receiver not powering the active antenna. Some GPS receivers incorrectly sense an antenna fault when there is no current draw. The 200 ohm internal load provides a simulated antenna current drain which prevents receiver faulting. Max voltage rating at the DC blocked port is 15 VDC; maximum current rating is 75 mA. Max voltage rating at the DC pass port is 50 VDC; max current rating is 2000 mA.

SparkFun GPS Breakout
NEO-M9N, U.FL (Qwiic)
-
The SparkFun NEO-M9N GPS Breakout is a high quality GPS board with equally impressive configuration options. The NEO-M9N module is a 92-channel u-blox M9 engine GNSS receiver, meaning it can receive signals from the GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellations with ~1.5 meter accuracy. This breakout supports concurrent reception of four GNSS. This maximizes position accuracy in challenging conditions, increasing precision and decreases lock time; and thanks to the onboard rechargeable battery, you'll have backup power enabling the GPS to get a hot lock within seconds! Additionally, this u-blox receiver supports I2C (u-blox calls this Display Data Channel) which made it perfect for the Qwiic compatibility so we don't have to use up our precious UART ports. Utilizing our handy Qwiic system, no soldering is required to connect it to the rest of your system. However, we still have broken out 0.1"-spaced pins in case you prefer to use a breadboard.

SparkFun MicroMod GNSS Carrier Board (ZED-F9P)
-
With GNSS you are able to know where you are, where you're going, and how to get there anywhere on Earth within 30 seconds. This means the higher the accuracy the better! GNSS Real Time Kinematics (RTK) has mastered dialing in the accuracy of their GNSS modules to just millimeters, and that's why we had to put it on this board! With the flexibility of the MicroMod's M.2 connector, you can easily test and swap out different MicroMod processor boards for your application. Simply match up the key on your board's beveled edge connector to the key on the M.2 connector and secure the boards with a screw. This means solderless access to the ZED-F9P modules features via UART1, UART2, SPI, and I2C ports!

Test Solutions for Networked Vehicle Components/Connected Cars
Infotainment & Telematics
-
Developing automatic test systems for the automotive industry is one of our core areas. This industry in particular is characterized by rapid technological progress and ever faster time-to-market requirements. In the vehicle, multimedia devices are used for pure entertainment, but also as vehicle information, which are intended to cover security and navigation services.Infotainment and telematics devices such as eCall modules, connected gateways, instrument clusters or the HMI (Human Machine Interface) are networked with each other and with the most important vehicle functions. All of this is made possible - in addition to GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) - by wireless and new communication standards such as A 2 B, BLE, C-V2X, Wi-Fi 6 and 5G.The complex networking is a very attractive factor for drivers and passengers, but this complex communication can become a major challenge for developers.High-speed interfaces and high-frequency modules used in combination must send and receive signals between the different devices absolutely error-free.With our individual and sensitive test and inspection systems, we also simulate vehicle components or emulate the vehicle environment and thus ensure the functionality of your devices. We take your pioneering developments to the next level.
