The LumiSun-50™ is a high power, multi-wavelength LED solar simulator that meets IEC 60904-9 Class AAA for spectral match, uniformity of irradiance, and temporal stability. The LumiSun-50 achieves a spatially uniform illumination field from a chip-on-board (COB), multiple-wavelength LED die array. The field of illumination is 50 x 50 mm at a working distance of 200 mm. The LumiSun-50 includes a driver/controller which individually provides constant current to each die in the COB array. Total irradiance of 1.1 sun units is provided and can be decreased to 0.1 suns. The LED light source of the LumiSun-50 is contained within an air-cooled housing that can rotate the angular beam alignment. Adjustment and setting of the optimum light path working distance is visually facilitated by a converging pair of red dot laser pointers.

The voltage rectifier has been designed to provide 6 kW, 120 V, 50 A output and is the ideal rectifier to guarantee the necessary stable, ripple free current for the full range of Monex GeoScope’s transmitters. This includes the internal transmitters for the terraTEM24 (50 A, 120V), terraTEM (15 A, 24 V) and the terraTX-50 external transmitter (50 A, 250 V). In addition, the voltage rectifier outputs a clean, filtered 24 V suitable for powering either the terraTEM24 console or terraTX-50 console electronics. 1.533 Μm Frequency-Locked Laser
Thorlabs' LLD1530 Frequency-Locked Laser is a narrow linewidth, DFB-laser-diode-based, turnkey system with a vacuum emission wavelength of 1532.8323 nm and a high SMSR of at least 35 dB. The laser frequency is actively stabilized to a National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)-traceable molecular transition of acetylene and has an absolute accuracy at start-up that is better than ±25 MHz. The emission frequency immediately after start-up is then maintained with a ±25 MHz stability, providing an overall frequency accuracy of ±50 MHz. The LLD1530 is an accurate frequency reference designed to provide low-noise laser emission with excellent frequency stability, accuracy, and precision immediately at start-up. This source is ideal for use in demanding FTIR instrumentation, instrument calibration, gas sensing, and coherent telecommunications applications.
