The PCI‑GPIB+ combines an IEEE 488 controller and an analyzer on one device for computers with PCI slots. You can use this device to integrate an instrument into your system using GPIB as well as to troubleshoot and solve GPIB hardware and software problems. The PCI‑GPIB+ achieves maximum IEEE 488.2 transfer rates. With an onboard bus master DMA controller, there is no microprocessor interruption in data transfers. The device includes a license for the NI‑488.2 driver software, providing maximum reliability for connecting to third-party instruments with GPIB.

The PK-232/USB brickwall filters have tighter bandwidth and steeper skirts for improved noise and QRM rejection. New PK-232 firmware (Ver. 7.2) allows a wider selection of filters than the original PK-232, so the filter can match the mode. The correct DSP filter is automatically selected when you choose an internal mode. In RTTY, Timewave’s proven Twin Peak Filters pluck the mark and space tones from the noise and QRM for great copy. In PACTOR, the filter bandwidth automatically changes when the baud rate shifts in response to the error rate of the link. In Morse (CW), the operator can preset either 100 Hz or 200 Hz bandwidth. The PK-232/USB is compatible with all Windows W2K,XP,Vista/Win7 software terminal programs for the PK-232.

Each channel can support up to 0.3A and is rated to handle up to 100V between the wire pairs. The wire pairs have controlled transmission line impedance suited to most differential pair signaling systems, including fast CAN Bus interfaces and RS232. Each fault bus is capable of carrying 2A allowing multiple channels to be connected to the same fault condition. Additionally, each fault bus features a changeover relay to allow the user to connect alternative fault conditions to the fault buses.
