The Signal Generator uses Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) technology and is programmable from 100Hz to 50 MHz using front panel controls or from an RS232 serial interface. The 2975AR can be disciplined by a 1pps input signal and provides a 1pps output signal. The 1pps input is typically provided by the GPS Frequency output from a device like a smart GPS receiver or antenna. The Novatech GPS1 Smart Antenna is available as an accessory to provide a complete turnkey solution.
