The Keysight 84906L programmable step attenuator offers coaxial measurements to 40 GHz in a compact, rugged design. It offers repeatability of better than 0.03 dB, excellent life greater than 5 million switching cycles per section) and an attenuation range of 0 to 90 dB in 10-dB steps. This latest design evolution sets new standards for size and performance. High attenuation accuracy and low SWR are achieved through the use of miniature thin-film attenuation cards composed of high-stability tantalum nitride film of saphire substrate. Insertion loss is outstanding, with with only 2.4 dB of loss at 40 GHz. The sophisticated design ensures efficient and reliable operations in high-voltage substations and industrial environments.The CAT Advanced series are stand-alone or PC-controlled digital instruments for a circuit breaker testing. The timing channels record closing and an opening of the arcing, resistor, and auxiliary contacts. Also, the main contact channels can measure the resistance value of the pre-insertion resistors (if present in the circuit breaker).With CAT Advanced series instruments, it is possible to record graphs of open and close coil currents. Furthermore, it records displacements of the HV and MV circuit breaker moving parts. The MIT2500 insulation and continuity tester has been designed for motor and cable testing, specialist applications and electrical testing applications, where operation voltages exceed 1000 V and higher insulation test voltages are needed. The MIT2500 offers both fixed range voltages of 50 V, 100V, 250 V, 500 V, 1000 V and 2500 V, as well as a variable range that allows any voltage between 50 V and 2500 V to be "dialled in". This is supported by the new test voltage feedback control, which maintains the output test voltage to within 2% of the selected range, even when under test.
